ANNOUNCEMENT REGARDING CLOWNs
We want to make you aware of an issue that is spreading across the country and is now is our area. It is called "clowning" or "creepy clown". It is also a growing concern on social media. This is where people dress as scary clowns and randomly appear in neighborhoods, public places or schools.
All of our schools are on alert regarding these scaring tactics. A letter will be sent home Friday, October 7, but you may also click on this link below to view it.

PROJECT CORNERSTONE SURVEY
We are working with Project Cornerstone on a survey called Attitudes and Behaviors. The survey measures students’ attitudes, behaviors, and developmental assets. Developmental assets are positive values, relationships, and experiences that help young people succeed. The survey results to plan strategies and programs that will benefit all of our students. Participation is voluntary, so we are sending home notices this week. Please return this form if you do not want your child to participate. If you would like to look at the survey, there is a copy in our main office for you to review. We will administer the survey October 4th and 5th.

August Boeger Middle School's mission is to build relationships that promote personal responsibility in a safe environment where problem solving and critical thinking are focused on academic success.
The District is “Committed to Excellence”, and we work hard to make the site a primary source for timely information for all users, and a main gateway for improved communication between parents, teachers, students and other members of our community. Our goal and responsibility is to help each student develop an enthusiasm for learning, a respect for self and others, and the skills to become a creative independent thinker and problem solver.
